Biography

As a contributor and member, Barbara Oliver brings 30 years of experience in information services and research to Boomster.com. Formerly the Director of Research at the New York Times, Barbara managed the research desks and editorial library for one of the world's preeminent newspapers, working with The Times' many bureaus, multimedia organizations, and the International Herald Tribune. She has additional extensive research experience, having previously worked as Research Director at The St. Petersburg Times and at Towers Perrin Consultants, and has provided in-depth background material for many non-fiction best sellers by well known authors, including Maureen Orth, David Margolick and Diana Henriques.
